Juan Soto Finished His 21 Year Old Season Leading The NL In Average, OPS, and Slugging

In a weird season plagued by Covid, injuries, 7 inning double headers, and unruly fans, Juan Soto proved that he is a cut above all the rest. This dude is only 21 years old and just won his first batting title, while also leading baseball in OPS and Slugging. It's crazy how good he is, while also making baseball fun again. He's not just great at the sports, he's exciting. He's approaching "must watch" status, if  he's not there already. Soto will win a triple crown before all is said and done. Maybe 2. Maybe 3. Who knows. Sky is the limit for him.

Also, Trea Turner, what a beast. Finished 5th in baseball (4th in the NL) in average, FIRST in hits, and top 10 in OPS, slugging, OBP, runs, RBIs, doubles, triples, stolen bases and a bunch of other categories I don't even know about. In a normal season Trea would be a serious MVP candidate.

So while the team finished a sad tied for last in the NL East, the future could not be brighter. This was a throwaway season for them. No Stras, Joe Ross opted out, Soto missed the first 10 days with COVID, Robles and Kieboom weren't quite ready yet, and the bullpen was trash. Next year though, when things are back to normal, expect the Nats to battle the Braves for the division once again.
