Nothing Beats Mount Rainier In The Fall

I've been to the Pacific Northwest exactly once for about 10 hours. Flew into Oregon for an OAR show, played the show, and then took a bus down to Wine Country, California. But those 10 hours in Oregon were wonderful. You can just tell something about being out there is more pure, more...real? I don't know the words I'm looking for. Like, the air smells better. Nature is around you. Life feels more relaxed, as if your feet are lighter and you have more bounce in your step. And that was just from 10 hours in Oregon.

I've blogged about it often in my many travel blogs, but there are so many places I'd like to visit. Seattle/Vancouver are high on the list. Do some hiking, some breweries, I think you can do some whale watching off the coast, those cities have it all. Maybe I'll go during hockey season and see a game in each city, who knows, world's my oyster. Oh and I bet they have really good oysters too. People always say Vancouver is the most beautiful place they've been to, and I'd love to see where it ranks for me. Maybe 2021 is the year I return to the PNW. Lord willing.
