Wake Up With Bill Murray in ‘Zombieland’

Bill Murray Turns 70 Week continues on the Wake Up.

A couple of weeks ago a comic friend of mine asked me what I thought of “Zombieland” and I told him honestly it’s not just one of the best horror comedies of all time, it’s one of the best comedies, period, in the last 20 years. And as soon as you’re invested in the fact it’s all just these four characters (plus a couple of minor characters who do not meet good ends), they throw in this surreal cameo with Bill Murray spoofing Bill Murray. 

It’s perfect. Him surviving the apocalypse by passing himself off as a zombie. Golfing. The Eddie Van Halen bit. Playing Ghostbusters to satisfy Woody Harrelson’s fanboying. The way he accepts death. His one regret. It’s the zombie genre and Murray at
