I'll Admit, This Lakers Scenario Is Slightly Concerning

I'm sure you could find weird combinations of different scenarios to help explain why your favorite team will win the title, but I have to admit this has me a little spooked. I don't think it needs to be explained why I am vehemently against the Lakers winning the 2020 NBA title. Can't have that. Because the franchise and their fans count the titles won while they were not in Los Angeles, a win this year would have them tied with my beloved Celtics for the most in league history. 

My head wants to ignore this and pretend it's nothing, but my heart can't. The bubble is weird and I'm not ready to rule out that Kobe is pulling some strings from above. For example in Game 7, George and Kawhi combined for 24 points and played 81 minutes. Coincidence? You be the judge. There's also this

Not to mention LeBron just passed Kobe for the most All NBA selections in NBA history. I'm not sure how that factors in but somehow it does. I know this is most likely me simply looking way too much into something that ultimately means nothing, but what do you want from me. I'm losing my shit waiting for the Celts game to start. I am man enough to admit that if someone were to show me a tweet like this about the Celts and how they were destined to win the title I would buy into it so fast it'll make your head spin. 

So I'm going to need Jamal Murray and Jokic to do what Melo and Chauncey Billups couldn't back in 2009 and that's somehow overcome destiny and make the NBA Finals. Please.
