Does the Leonard Fournette Signing Put The Bucs Over The Top?

The Bucs signed Leonard Fournette to a 1-year deal worth $2M. It can be worth up to $3.5M with incentives. He's also the former 4th overall pick in the draft, only 25 years old, and coming off his career best year. Those are all facts. Now where does he fit in with the Bucs?

Well Ronald Jones was the incumbent starter at RB. The LeSean McCoy signing was a splashy one for name value, but even he said he was joining to help out Jones. McCoy is 31 years old and is beyond the back 9 of his career. He's on 17 or 18. While Ronald Jones had a decent season, having just him with an aging McCoy wasn't exactly a strength of the team, so adding a different type of back in Fournette is certainly a signing with a ton of upside and very little downside. I was on record saying the Bucs already had a Super Bowl roster and this just makes em' better. I can't wait til next weekend...
