David Blaine Ascension Is Live Now

For David's latest special he's attempting to float to 25 thousand ish feet by holding on to balloons. Then he'll let go and skydive from there. 

It may sound pretty simple but remember that normal skydiving is done from 13 thousand feet, shit starts to get a little funky when you get higher than that. There's a solid chance he goes hypoxic and passes out. Landing is gonna be tough as well, he has no idea where the balloons will take him. When he goes into his skydive he's gonna have gnarly mountains to avoid. If he lands in powerlines he dies. He has to figure out where he is in the sky and fly back to the right landing area. Not exactly easy to do from 25 grand.

Oh yeah, and he's not putting a parachute on until he reaches 1000 feet... I think that's the craziest part of this stunt, those things aren't exactly easy to put on, let alone at 1000 feet when the wind is blowing you all over. If he drops it that's game over.
