The Cubs Set A Major League Record For Home Runs The Day After Getting Attacked By The Reds For Hitting Home Runs

Maybe you missed it yesterday but the benches unceremoniously cleared in the Cubs/Reds game last night:

Well today they showed up to play game 4 and the Cubs smashed their faces in. It was awesome for a lot of reasons, but the biggest one is that you don't talk shit about Anthony Rizzo's baseball team. You just don't do it. The guy has come too far and done too much to get chirped by the Reds. Without being too mean let's just leave it at that.

Another reason we don't have to be mean is that the Cubs set an amazing record today. Specifically it was the first time in MLB history that all 3 outfielders had a multi-HR game: Happ, Heyward and Schwarber

I know us Cubs fans can suck most of the time but you have to admit that's pretty bad ass. Anytime you get to say that something happened for the first time in MLB history, it's a big deal. Even more important is that the Cubs are in 1st place and confidently cruising to the top half of the NL bracket. That's the All Gas No Brakes shit I like to talk about.
