Wake Up With Ichiro Being A Wizard And Juking Matt Wieters Out Of His Cleats

I have a very vivid memory of this play because I was sitting in literally the top row of the stadium for this game. 2012 ALDS between the Orioles and Yankees and Cano laces one into right. Chris Davis actually does a nice job with the relay and Robert Andino makes a hell of a throw home. Matt Wieters receives the ball and has plenty of time to wait for Ichiro to run into him for the out. Ichiro had other plans of course. He basically runs right around Wieters who had dropped to a knee, Ichiro dances out of the way again causing Wieters to dive at home plate to try and tag him. Ichiro, cool as the other side of the pillow, just reaches out with the other hand and tags home safely. I've never seen someone get the ball with as much time as Wieters had and still look so damn lost. Ichiro literally put him in a blender.

Enjoy your Friday, friends.
