Today In Tokyo: Japan Has Installed Transparent Toilets!

From the country that has given the world countless technological marvels comes an innovation that cannot possibly backfire! For far too long, humanity has had to deal with the awkwardness that comes with walking in on someone while they are in bathroom. The culprit could have been an only partially-locked door, an unheard knock, or a "Just a minute" that fell on deaf ears. However, the result would always be a dagger of utter shock into two people's hearts followed by the Stand of Shame as the walk-inner waited for that awkward glance from the pisser/shitter once the deed was done. I've straight up walked away from bathrooms with a bladder ready to explode simply to avoid that 2 milliseconds of embarrassment.

Which is why it's beautiful to see the pioneers in Japan finally solved this conundrum along with public toilets looking so blase in one fell swoop. Now those awkward moments will never happen because if someone forgets to the lock the door, everybody outside of the bathroom will get to #witness a little bit of biology class playing out behind a calming modern hue of glass. Or maybe that someone wants to show off all the scenes from a Japanese restroom, which could be the hot new trend in Japan for all I know. Well now the world, or at least the public locations in Tokyo where these bathrooms have been installed, is their stage! 2020 is truly a time to be alive.
