Padres OF Wil Myers Should Be Ashamed Of Himself For Blasting Yet Another Grand Slam Off The Texas Rangers

We're not even 24 hours removed from "3-0 Gate" and here is Wil Myers hitting yet ANOTHER grand slam off the Texas Rangers in the first inning of their game today. On a 2-2 count no less! What an asshole. Doesn't Myers have any respect for Mike Minor? 2-2 count, you have to know you can't be swinging there if you get an 88 mph fastball down the middle. Respect the game, sir. Four runs on one swing? Far too many to break open a tie game. How is Texas supposed to answer that? The Rangers have feelings dude. Disgusting. Shameful. Have you learned nothing from Tatis Jr.? I expect Jayce Tingler to have already benched Wil for his insubordination. Dude has lost the clubhouse entirely.

In all seriousness the fact that Wil Myers didn't bat flip into the Rangers dugout there pretty much sums up why he didn't become a superstar after his huge rookie year. Some guys have the it factor and some do not. Failing to seize the moment right there tells you all you need to know about him. And also maybe that he spells his name with one "L". The moment you connect there the bat has to be flying into the air and you need to be pointing at Chris Woodward as you jog down the first base line.
