Wake Up With the Best of Troy McClure

Say what you will about “The Simpson’s” of the last 20 years. But if I could go back to any place in the 90s, I’d like to ride out that decade In that show’s writer’s room. Troy McClure was nothing more than a minor recurring character, and look at how much gold they managed to mine out of him. I mean, I would actually pay to see full length versions of “The President’s Neck is Missing!” and “The Boatjacking of Supership 79.” And in a perfect world, Netflix or Disney+ would make them. But we no longer have Phil Hartman, so why bother?

A landmark sitcom at its peak. One of their many indelible side characters. One of the great comic actors of his generation. And comedy that never gets old. RIP, Hartman.
