PK Subban Has Been Working Out With One Of The Greatest Hockey Players Ever, Dwayne "The Tooth Fairy" Johnson
There are 24 teams who will be competing for a chance to hoist Lord Stanley's Cup and be crowned 2020 Stanley Cup Champions when the season resumes this weekend. The New Jersey Devils are not one of those teams. Not even after they were declared to have won the offseason last year. Shocking, I know. An additional 8 teams were added to the playoffs and all those headlines the Devils got 12 months ago somehow didn't seem to make a single difference. Oh well. Better luck next year.
But sometimes you need more than just better luck. Sometimes you need to work your dick off and grind your way to success. Because as we all know, success is leased and rent is due every day. So PK Subban has been paying his success rent by getting some work in with one of the all-time greats. I'm talking, of course, about Derek Thompson.
Just think about how much this is going to add to PK's game next season. This certainly isn't just to using The Rock to continue growing his social media and YouTube presence. This is a man who is now 10 years into his NHL career and he wants to finally get his name on the cup, so he's reaching out to one of the best to ever do it. I mean this guy played on a line with Ryan Scheckler. So not only does PK get to learn from The Rock, but he also gets to learn everything that The Rock learned from Ryan Sheckler. Nice little 2-for-1 action there.
So watch out, rest of the NHL. I don't think any team out there will be able to handle the tooth once the Devils get back to business.
