Cincinnati Reds Manager Bryan Price Drops An Impressive 5 Minute, 77 F-Bomb Tirade For The Ages

MLB: San Diego Padres at Cincinnati Reds

MILWAUKEE — Reds manager Bryan Price showed the same frustration that has welled up among the team’s fanbase as the team came off four straight losses and seven losses in eight games. Instead of lashing out at his team’s offensive woes, bullpen blowups or the cards dealt to him by his general manager, Price went off on the media. Upset by the accurate reports that All-Star catcher Devin Mesoraco was not with the team for Sunday’s game in St. Louis, Price went on a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade in his daily session with reporters in advance of the Reds’ 6-1 win Monday night in Milwaukee.

Simmer down there, skip. There’s no reason to go from 0 to I Drive A Dodge Stratus like that because someone in your clubhouse can’t keep their yapper shut, especially after only the 13th game of the season. You still got 149 more sessions to tapdance for these assholes. Save some for the rest of the year. But I don’t think Price knows how good he has it with the Reds. Sure, they’re only 6-7 and if I had to trot out Jay Bruce and Marlon Byrd every night I’d be ready to take the last gun in the bullet, too. But look on the bright side – They have Votto, Phillips, Mesoraco and a closer that gasses 105 mph heat. It won’t be enough to win a title, but at least that’s a little bit of talent and hope. Ryne Sandberg be like:

PS – If Price really wanted to shit some steam he should’ve pulled a Hal Mcrae and started ripping phones out of the wall. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

PPS – Or Price could have threatened to knock a reporter or two out like good ol’ Cholly used to do to that pussbucket Howard Eskin. Never imagined I could miss that man as much as I do now.
