Florida Man Skips Out On Bill At Japanese Restaurant, Attacks Employee With Nunchucks Instead

FLORIDAA man attacked an employee of a Japanese restaurant with nunchucks after being confronted about not paying his bill, police said. David Fisher, 40, was arrested Thursday.

West Palm Beach police said Fisher was a patron at Sumo Restaurant when he left without paying his tab. A restaurant employee approached Fisher outside the restaurant, telling him that he hadn’t paid. Fisher became angry and reached inside of his car, according to the arrest report. He pulled out a pair of nunchucks and began swinging them.

I know Florida typically leads the nation in “WTF” moments, but for once, I think they’re actually on to something here. I hate that we live in a world now where everything has a set price. You can’t just walk into a store anymore and barter for that Blu-ray player you’ll never use once. Or that you can’t just waltz into Qdoba challenging people to a duel in exchange for a Chicken burrito with extra meat and double queso. But that’s exactly what David Fisher here was trying to do. He was trying to put an end to all of us being a bunch of mindless pussies and just accepting the fact that the Salmon Teriyaki costs $16. You gotta fight for your right to bargain that shit down to at least $10, and the way he went about it was highly commendable.

Look at David Fisher. He’s a white who has receding grey hair and probably a shit ton of alimony to pay. And he went after a Japanese restaurant employee with a pair of nunchucks? That’s the biggest home field advantage ever for said employee. If you’re working at a Japanese restaurant and you’re not expecting to get attacked with a pair of nunchucks, well then that’s on you. Don’t put the blame on David Fisher here. Because unless he’s straight out of Kill Bill or something, he had no business winning that nunchuck fight. He gave the employee every chance in the world to get his money, but he failed. And for that, David Fisher should have been rewarded with a free Japanese dinner. Not a free night in jail.
