Wake Up With Eric Church's New Song 'Stick That In Your Country Song'

A couple days late on this, but we typically wake up every Wednesday with something Eric Church related. Either way, he dropped a new song and while it's not a 'standard' Eric Church sounding song, it's damn good. He's calling out the entire country music industry and calling for more just across the country. What I did find interesting about how this song came about this was written a few months ago (h/t American Song Writer)

Interestingly, Jeffrey Steele and Davis Naish penned this social commentary before the pandemic and the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis. The song was then recorded during an April retreat in the North Carolina mountains, where Church recorded 28 songs in 28 days.
