Can Someone Please Watch This Video Of Sammy Sosa & Then Explain To Me Why He Isn't Allowed Back At Wrigley Field?

I could write 2,000 words on this video and still wouldn't scratch the number of times it's made me cry in my adult life. Literally every fucking time I see Sammy go deep right field then grab the mini flag, I break down like a little bitch. I can't help it and I don't care. It's like watching Toy Story 3 then Wall-E then the first 10 minutes of UP over and again with a Cinderella Man for desert. That's how activated my tear glands are and for the life of me I don't understand why the Chicago Cubs want to pretend this never happened. That Sammy didn't electrify the baseball world and bring us together at a moment that the history books will remember forever. Baseball loves to blow itself over the way it integrates itself into American history and here's a top 10 moment of my life that just doesn't exist for no other reason than the Ricketts family don't want it out there. Otherwise I can't rationalize it. Not now. Not yesterday. Not 10 years from now. It's the point where Sammy either ran through front office WAGS with reckless abandon or he actually murdered someone in cold blood and the Cubs are afraid they'll get sued for association. Those are the best guesses for why we let 609 homeruns drift into baseball purgatory without appreciation.

Well guess what.

I'm not joining that bullshit crowd. I never will. I hate that logic and reasoning as much as the people who so devoutly bestow it upon the public like we're not good enough for the cold hard truth. Go fuck yourself. Everyone in the universe wants to see Sammy Sosa back in Wrigley Field and I swear on everything that is sacred and holy that I will go above and beyond the call of duty to see it happen. You don't know the kinda smoke I'm looking for when it comes to Sammy slander and the redemption tour officially starts tonight. Would be a real shame if you missed out on the movement.
