Little Kid Writes An Apology To Local Restaurant After He Puked All Over The Place

Metro- If you ever find yourself having just heaved up a massive, steaming fountain of vomit all over a local restaurant, this is what to do. A very polite local child in Portland, Oregon, upchucked on epic scale in a local restaurant – but wrote such a nice note that the staff forgave him. It may have helped that he included a voucher for Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. ‘This Ben and Jerry’s card is for the people who cleaned up the throwie of a kid on Friday 28th. ‘I don’t know their names but I thank them a lot and I’m sorry again for throwing up, and I hope you enjoy your ice cream. From, Jack (AKA the kid that puked right next to the bathroom)’. Some, less charitable Reddit commenters have suggested that there may have been parental pressure involved. We would not like to speculate.

Cute as shit.  Maybe the nicest kid in the world. Kinda shitty parents though, right?  Making the kid feel like an asshole for puking?  Even with my limited exposure to children you gather pretty quickly that one of their favorite things to do is puke. Puke everywhere.  Pat a kid on the back, puke.  Give a kid a high five, puke.  Look at a kid, puke.  No need to hand out gift cards every time it happens.  Any establishment that allows kids should understand that the puke is gonna fly at some point.  Bottom line, these parents suck.  The ice cream gift card was a nice gesture but I just picture them hovering over their son like terrorists, forcing him to right an apology letter.  His sign off is laugh out loud funny though.  “From Jack, AKA the kid that puked right next to the bathroom”  Sounds like he almost made it.

PS- If college bars were given an ice cream gift card for every time somebody puked in their establishment they’d be swimming in ice cream.  Actually, that should be the policy for every bar in the world going forward.  You puke in our bar?  You bring us either an ice cream gift card or a pint of ice cream.  It’s the least the puker can do.
