TV Journalist Drops A Hard C-Word On British TV

The Telegraph- A local TV journalist has been disciplined for calling a fellow presenter a “c—” on air.  Helen McDermott, 61, was recording a link on Mustard TV which broadcasts around Norwich, Norfolk, when she made the jibe to colleague Darren Eadie.  She said: “This is what happened when this c*** went to Happisburgh beach to look at some fossils or something.”   The offending segment with former Norwich City and Leicester City midfielder Eadie, 39, was not intended to air, but was broadcast after an editing mix-up.  The clip was removed from any repeat showing on the channel or online by publishing company Archant which launched Mustard TV on Freeview in March last year.

Talk about your surprise endings.  Who didn’t go into that video thinking Mr. Blue Blazer was going to be the one to drop the c-bomb on the old bag?  Nope, that was an old fashioned M. Night Shyamalan-level twist right there.

And talk about an offensive video.  Who records in portrait mode these days anyway?  Portrait mode recording and the metric system are Exhibits A and B of why America still rules the world.  Helen McDermott, her potty mouth, and the worst editor in Mustard TV history are trying to bring street cred back across the pond.  But the stupid bloke that taped this video on his iPhone blew the whole thing. Kind of like colonizing a country, getting your ass handed to you in a revolution by said country, and then watching that old group of colonies take over the planet. Tough look, England. Tough look.
