There Has Been More Than 500 Earthquakes Near Area 51 Over The Past 7 Days

Oh, nothing to see here. 

Just a coincidence, I'm sure.

Let's zoom in a bit. Specifically to where Area 51 and the Nevada test site & US Air Force range is located:

Well, isn't that something. 

The conspiracy community is BUZZING.

My conspiracy theory mind wants to believe something weird is going in the tunnels at Area 51. However, I need to be skeptical, so let's extend the USGS earthquake tool from 7 days to 30 days. Maybe earthquakes happen around Area 51 all the time. 

That's an increase from 533 to 631, including more instances of minor earthquakes away from Area 51. 

To my knowledge there is no such thing as "earthquake season." I may be wrong, but the science of predicting earthquakes is incredibly difficult, and timing them is close to impossible. 

Could it just be a coincidence? Sure. I don't believe in coincidences much. Plus the statistical chance of 533 earthquakes happening in a 7 day period right around Area 51? They've gotta be low. Something is going on.
