The Headline For This Blog Is Simply "Barry Bonds"

I don't have much to say here. I read that stat a few minutes ago and have spiraled into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. What do you mean that, even while being held hitless, the man was still reaching base nearly half the time? It's hard to fathom. It doesn't make much sense. I'm sure there's a healthy portion of people reading right now shouting steroids at their computer screen. Well that's not how internet communication works, friend, so I can't hear you, dumb dumb. Those sound waves are merely reverberating directly back into your big dumbo face. You're losing an argument to yourself, which is nearly impressive as the fact that Bonds could have completely forgot to bring a bat, helmet or gloves to over a season's worth of games and still got on base 41% of the time. Even funnier? He was still managing to drive in runs.

And now, for no reason other than someone tweeted the video at me in response to reposting this Bonds stat: Barry Lamar hitting a broken bat homer against the Marlins.

Live look at me, thinking about Barry Bonds stats and broken bat dingers the rest of the weekend.
