2021 Is Going To Be The Best Year Ever

2020 has arguably been one of the worst years ever. Kobe died, Australia lit on fire, Coronavirus has killed 185k people so far, the economy has been ravaged and sports got cancelled. The service industry is gone, unemployment is up and mental health is down. There will be no Memorial Day celebrations or Fourth of July bashes. Proms, graduations and weddings have all been nixed and generally speaking, lives have been turned upside down in ways that we never thought possible. The world is a shit show right now, but you know what? I’m holding out hope because I KNOW that 2021 is going to be awesome. 

Things are simply too bad not to get better. 2020 has set the bar so low that any sort of return to normalcy will seem like the greatest thing ever. And trust me, we will be back to normal. It may take a little longer than we expected, it may not look exactly the same as it used to, but it will happen. 2021 is going to be 2019 on steroids. Was 2019 a good year? I can't remember. The point is, this too shall pass. Next year at this time we'll be looking back on the whole ordeal over an ice cold beer in a crowded bar with our best friends saying, "Man, that shit was wild." Right?...

At least that's what I'm hoping for. So while the summer may suck and the fall may be sub-par, 2021 will not be. I can feel it in my bones. Just trying to spread a little positivity here, friends. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
