Tom Hardy plays the lead role and the photos of him in makeup are wild...
Hardy, who for once isn't wearing a mask in a movie, is joined by Matt Dillon and Londa Cardellini in a movie that has been in production for a while. The movie was first announced in 2016 and was set to be titled 'Fonzo'. Then Hardy wasn't able to film it until 2018 because of 'Venom'. Now, finally, it will be released a full four years later in 2020. The director had a few comments about the movie in a tweet with the trailer…
So, yeah, the name might look familiar to you. Josh Trank has been tied to a few notorious movie productions. One being the 2015 'Fantastic Four' movie, one of the worst blockbusters ever made…

The ball is your court when it comes to who you believe, but it was clear Disney believed the studio and not Trank because this news quickly followed…

While director Josh Trank said Friday that he had “made a personal decision” to leave the Star Wars universe, sources say reports of the young director’s unusual conduct during the making of Fox’s upcoming Fantastic Four movie had raised alarm among Lucasfilm executives that were entrusting him with the second Star Wars stand-alone film.
Trank, 30, had raised eyebrows in April when he didn’t appear as scheduled at a Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim. At the time, both Disney and the director cited illness as the cause but multiple knowledgeable sources say the studio had asked the filmmaker not to attend while considering whether to proceed with him on the second spinoff in a planned series of films.
They even had a fucking Boba Fett teaser ready minutes before his scheduled appearance at Star Wars Celebration in 2015!
Anytime Trank's name is brought up, there seems to be a wild production story that follows.
That's what makes his tweet today seem so interesting. Four-year development, a changed title, "his" cut of the movie… it leaves me really skeptical.
But with it dropping straight to streaming platforms and video-on-demand, why not give it a chance? Let us know below what you think of the movie…
EDIT: Might go watch 'The Untouchables' tonight…
