Major League Drama As Andrew McCutchen's Uncle Bursts Into Video, Takes Credit For His Nephew's Success

With many families being stuck together for waaaay longer periods of time than they're used to, tensions are rising. That was the case for Andrew McCutchen when his uncle Larry burst onto a video he was trying to record. Luckily McCutchen had a sense of humor about it because his uncle seems a bit extra:

With Larry's ego stretching to the moon & beyond I hope they can work things out.

As for McCutchen, I love the guy. He's got a great, wacky sense of humor:

Interacts with fans, & appears to be kind to everyone:

…and he ( + his uncle ) seems like the type of person with contagious enthusiasm.

Having already been out before COVID-19 due to ACL surgery, he's maintained a positive attitude, and the confidence of the 5x All Star, Golden Glove winning, former MVP hasn't wavered.

In an interview with the Post-Gazette when asked if he's nervous about not being as good as he was before the surgery:

“No, (because) there’s no ‘hope’ in my mind. There’s a ‘know,’ ” the Phillies left fielder said. “I know what I can do, I know what I’m going to do, and I know what I am doing. That’s the end of it.”

That quote's a pretty good one for all of us to keep in mind as the current situation continues on. I know he'll be back in the swing of things soon enough, and I know we will be, too.

Big salute to him as he continues putting positive vibes out into the world. Glad he's with the Phillies now.
