Empty Arena WrestleMania Will Now Be Spread Out Over 2-Nights And Hosted By Gronk

I don't know what the hell is happening anymore.

Vince McMahon has taken his big ol' can of worms and decided to get rid of it by pouring half of the worms into a different can without realizing he's now double-fisting cans of worms. Just put the worms down like everybody else, old man!

You have to imagine walking into production meetings with the Chairman of the Board looks like this by now...

Gronk hosting "WrestleMania" is kiiiiiiiiiiiiiinda cool, I guess? We'll probably get a few awkwardly funny clips out of this show now, at least - but as somebody who's watched the WWE try to put on wrestling shows from an empty WWE Performance Center for the past few days and knows how excruciatingly boring it's been - this "two-night pop culture extravaganza" is not moving the needle at all for me. That's also spoken from somebody who hasn't missed watching a WrestleMania live in 17 years, and wouldn't give a damn if went my whole life without having seen the upcoming WrestleMania 36.

I'm happy Gronk's securing that retirement bag, but this ain't WrestleMania and I wish they'd stop acting like it was. I can't even pretend to be the slightest bit intrigued or excited about it. I'm sorry.

If they decided to move the actual show to two-nights on a non-pandemic year, however, now that'd be interesting...
