Nothing Sucks Ass Harder Than When The Good Players Don't End Up On Your Favorite Team

Real rap...that shit sucks, man. Personally I'm of the belief that all of the good NFL players should end up on the Eagles whenever they move on from their former team, and that it is a criminal injustice when they end up anywhere else. So when Stefon Diggs fired out this tweet yesterday

I was already trying to figure out which part of the city he was going to be moving in to. And sure, there were 30 other NFL fanbases all quote tweeting this and tagging their team's official account as if the accounts are run by the GMs and none of them thought about inquiring the Vikings about a trade for Stefon Diggs before a bunch of assholes on Twitter starting tagging them about it, but you look at those 30 other fanbases and you think to yourself about how idiotic they are making themselves. You think they couldn't possibly be any dumber than they already appear, yet that seems to be the exact scenario playing itself out right in front of you. I mean how could any of these people think that their team would make the best fit for Stefon Diggs when your favorite team is sitting right in front of them?

And it's not just Stefon Diggs. It's any big name that's on the market. It happens each and every time. That player becomes available, every fanbase quote tweets a Schefter tweet about that player being available and tags their favorite team's account, and then once a deal is finally announced?

It sucks, man. It sucks so freakin' hard. For like 3 and a half full hours yesterday, I was convinced that Stefon Diggs was going to be Carson Wentz's newest weapon. I don't even like Diggs that much. I think he'd be a horrible fit for this locker room. I think with all of the shit that went down with the Eagles locker room last year, bringing in an emotional nut case like Stefon Diggs would be the absolute worst decision they could make. Doesn't change the fact that I was getting ready to order a Diggs Eagles jersey for 3 and a half hours yesterday. They were some of the best 3 and a half hours of my life. And when those jackasses up in Buffalo decided to break the bank for Diggs? Well the GIF above still explains it better than any words could possibly do.

Oh well. We live to see another day. And the good news is that at least the Eagles still locked up the best potential free agent this offseason by not letting him hit the open market.
