Links To The Kobe & Gianna Bryant Memorial Service Starting 1pm ET Today (Now)

Tens of thousands have shown up to the Staples Center to pay their respects at the Kobe & Gianna Bryant memorial service. You can also take part & watch if you click HERE for the CBS Sports' stream. (It's supposed to have begun at 1pm ET but hasn't started yet (as of 1:04pm ET when I'm writing this).)

There is significant meaning behind the timing of this event. According to the AV Club:

Vanessa Bryant announced the memorial on Instagram and explained the significance of the chosen date earlier this month. “#2, #24, #20 years as a Laker and the amount of years Kob [sic] and I were together,” she shared. Gianna, known by family and friends as “Gigi,” wore the #2 jersey and had hopes to join the WNBA one day. She was 13 years old.

Thinking of their family today & sending love to the city of Los Angeles.
