Crazy Video Of Louisville Off-Duty Cops Enjoying Date Night At Raising Cane's By Stopping An Armed Robbery

Imagine being this robber. You think you have this grand scheme to commit an armed robbery at Raising Cane's - a delicious chicken place. I'm assuming he was trying to rob them for their sauce more than anything else. That would make way more sense than money in this situation. So you get your mask on and walk in. You think you have it made. Chicken and delicious sauce for days with some money too, I guess.

Only for two off duty cops to come chasing after you, guns drawn, because they decided to have date night. What's even better is how they decided to go about figuring out this was a robbery and then reacting (via WDRB)

"I think we kind of both saw him at the same time," Nicole McKeown said. Knowing that it was flu season, Nicole says she thought at first that Carter might be sick, but as she continued to watch, she realized there was something more sinister happening. That's when she turned to her husband. "I looked at him and said, 'That's kind of odd.'"

Guy almost got away with it because of the flu! Imagine if that was the story. I'm not one to support crime, but feel like you gotta take advantage of flu season with masks.

Nicole said her husband Chase was going to take Carter on by himself, so he handed her his cell phone and told her to call 911 – but she wasn't about to sit on the sidelines.

"No -- I'm gonna help my husband!" she said.

Feel like every person that's married can relate to this. All of us husbands tend to do this. 'Ah, just let me handle it by myself. Here call whomever and I'll go deal with it.' Doesn't matter if you're a cop, blogger, whatever. That's just how us idiot guys are.

Naturally, she wasn't going to sit back and just let her husband go alone. That's love. Eating some Cane's and stopping armed robberies together. Pretty sure it's in vows going forward. Also think I'm about to go get some Cane's for lunch now.
