Absolute SCENES As Atletico Madrid's Team Bus Arrives Ahead Of UCL Clash With Liverpool

This. This is why I love soccer. These are the scenes outside of the Wanda Metropolitano (Atletico's home ground) as Atletico Madrid's bus pull into the stadium ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with Liverpool. When I first saw it, I didn't know that it was a soccer game. I thought it was some recreation of hell for a movie or something.

I wish more sports were like this. I know that's very soccer of me to say, but imagine going into an NFL playoff game and seeing this type of shit? Fans chanting their faces off, flares going off everywhere... it's just perfect. All of this is like two hours before kick-off too. Imagine what it's gonna be like when they're actually playing. I think if Atletico actually manages to beat Liverpool today, the whole stadium might come down.

I can't find any videos of the Liverpool bus arriving but I can only imagine it was being pelted with piss bottles and whatnot. For big game atmospheres like this, the away team bus is likely to be subject to some adversities. The one that always sticks out in my head is when West Ham fans peppered the Manchester United bus before the last game at Upton Park (West Ham's old ground) in 2016, even breaking a window on the bus. Kick-off was ultimately delayed upwards of 90 minutes because of the whole ordeal.

Thankfully, that did not happen today in Madrid. Now it's time to play one of the bigger matchups in the UCL round of 16. Personally, Initially, I thought Liverpool was gonna thrash Atletico, not because of the skill gap between the two teams specifically, but because Liverpool wants to prove that they'll fuck anybody up, not just EPL teams. However, after seeing this video it's hard to pick againt Atletico.
