IMPORTANT 90s COMEBACK NEWS Pt. 2: Discovery Zone Is Opening Back Up This Week

[Source] - A brand new Discovery Zone is expected to open in Cincinnati on Feb. 7. At first glance it does not appear the new Discovery Zone has the legendary, but dangerous, roller slide that many 80s and 90s babies lost some hair to and crushed their fingers in too many times to count. Foam pits appear to have taken the place of ball pits—another major difference from the Discovery Zone of the past.

What a day. What a goddamn day we're having here if you were a kid that really grew up in the 1990s. First we had the Snack God blogging about Dunkaroos

And then I see this. Discovery Zone - THE place to go as a kid is coming back. More importantly it's coming back to the city I live in. So not only is Cincinnati dirt cheap, with an underrated bar scene and good food (not talking Skyline) we now have Discovery Zone. Will I take advantage of that? Yes. Because I now know where I'm bringing my kid.

Discovery Zone was heaven on Earth when you were younger and for sure better than Chuck E. Cheese’s. Discovery Zone had it all. The slide into the ball pit. The roller slide that you immediately wanted to go down. The zip line. All the crazy tunnels. All the games which led to getting sweet ass prizes at the end of the trip. It had it all and if you’re in your 30s, you remember DZ like it’s yesterday.

Now we're getting rid of the roller slide, which cost more than 1 finger. I get that. Not happy about it, but I get it. Also getting rid of the ball pit seems wrong, but that's gotta be a major health code violation.

Between this, Dunkaroos and Legends of the Hidden Temple returning, we're starting to have a hell of a revival. Everyone knows how awesome the 90s were. I'm trying to think what else from those days need to come back besides the 90s Knicks.
