Crazy that this could be one of the last sick plays we saw from Mookie Betts in a Sox uniform. You've seen all the news and talk that he likely won't sign a contract extension with Boston and will probably test the free agent market, leading the way for Boston to probably ship him out of town and try to get a huge haul for him. Buck Showalter always said that Mookie was the best right fielder he ever saw, and it was cuz of plays like this. An absolute cannon on a casual 305 foot throw to get the runner at third like it was nothing. Throw was a little high but man, not many other throws better than this one. Gonna be a real shame if they ship him outta town, real shame.
