Introducing Butler Blue IV ... Butler's New Puppy Mascot And The Cutest Freaking Way To Snap A Losing Streak

[Source] - Oh, and don’t worry, I already bleed Butler Blue. I stuck my head out of the incubator at two weeks old to watch the Men’s Basketball team play on television. I even started barking when the announcer said the rival team’s name.

I was born for this.

For the next few months, I’ll be training, interning, and following around Uncle Trip (Butler Blue III) to learn what it takes to represent Butler. Then, I’ll take over full-time mascot duties after Trip retires at the end of the 2019-2020 academic year.

Without using any form of exaggeration I'd fucking shriek if I saw this little guy walking around campus and then sprint to go pet him. Look at him. Those rolls. That face. He's perfect. He's the biggest star on campus. Nay, he's the biggest star in the state of Indiana. Bigger than any Pacer. Bigger than the Colts. Obviously bigger than anyone wearing candy stripe pants in Bloomington.

Good news is this is coming at the perfect time. Butler is on a 3-game losing streak. You know how you turn that around? You bring this very good boy to Hinkle for a marquee game.

My on-campus debut for students, faculty, and staff will be on Friday, January 24. And later that evening, I’ll make my public debut at Hinkle Fieldhouse just before the Butler Men’s Basketball game against Marquette. Be sure you get to your seats early.

I don't want to spend my day petting Butler Blue IV, I need to. What a perfect puppy. Can't wait to see him and the new Jack at Georgetown doing dog things. Remember when Butler III and Jack got together?

Puppy mascots are just the best. Butler's season just got turned around.
