Tristan Thompson Got Ejected Last Night For Slapping Some Butt Cheeks

I'm not sure what it is with Cleveland athletes and their recent obsession with slapping butt cheeks, but Tristan Thompson couldn't resist giving his former teammate a little love tap and promptly found himself getting ejected. That is ridiculous on about a thousand levels considering

A) the butt slap is as common in basketball as dribbling

B) they are former teammates and honestly who gives a shit

but then you remember who this crew was. This was the same crew that was responsible for this ejection earlier this season

I don't know what the deal is this year, but it does feel like every other day we are getting an outrageous ejection in an NBA game. Was it always this bad? I feel like we've had more of these than ever just within the last week or so. Remember the other day when Devin Booker got tossed for doing absolutely nothing?

That was Tuesday. I know we joke around on here, but Adam Silver has to step in and figure this shit out. They are making it very hard for us basketball guys to defend this league when this type of soft shit keeps happening and frankly I don't care for it one bit. I understand that both already had techs, but that's exactly why you have to just let this go. It's not like be punched him in the face or anything. Grow up NBA you're embarrassing yourself.

He had a rough night, but this game was close late and who knows if TT being active in the fourth quarter could have made a difference. It was only a 12 point game when this happened and Memphis only won by 4. Meanwhile the Grizzlies have won 7 straight and Ja Morant is balling his face off

but the league needs to end this trend of extremely soft ejections. It's a terrible look for everyone involved.
