Jason Garrett Is Officially, Finally, Out As Head Coach Of The Dallas Cowboys

It’s insane this took as long as it did. And I don’t even mean the fact that this should have happened years ago. I mean, the Cowboys season has been over for a week now. There were closed door meetings, other head coaching prospects being interviewed presumably directly in front of Garrett, then there was this

which is an apparent outright refusal to be let go until the bitter end. That rules so hard. I don’t know why more people don’t try this. It’s like an ol’ fashioned sit in. Because it wasn’t as if the Cowboys could fire Jason Garrett. His contract was up. He was literally jobless. They didn’t have to do anything and it STILL took this long to officially break up and move on. Who knows where the Cowboys go from here, but I can’t imagine many Cowboys fans care about that minor detail just yet. They’re just happy their long, torturous nightmare is finally over and they can begin anew.

Poor one out for the Clapper.
