Charles Barkley Saved Zion Williamson's Career In Five Seconds

By now you may have heard that Zion is working his way back to playing in an actual NBA game but first has to be reprogrammed on how to walk and run. Never an ideal situation when your #1 pick needs his brain and body completely rewired so that he doesn't have a more serious injury down the line. You may also remember that NO brought in the guy who was in charge of those famous Suns training staffs, you know the ones that saved Steve Nash, Amare Stoudamire, Shaq etc. If anyone is going to make sure Zion has this figured out it's probably Aaron Nelson.

Well that used to be the case, until he got cucked by Chuck.

I'm sure a lot of people are going to have an opinion on Zion, and what he should do so he avoids being tossed into the same sentence with guys like Kwame Brown, Greg Oden, etc. I know if I were to listen to someone about walking and running, I'm listening to the guy who has the following nicknames

- The Round Mound of Rebound

- The Prince Of Pizza

- The Incredible Bulk

- The Leaning Tower of Pizza

- Bread Truck

That's a guy that knows how to move effectively at the NBA level with a little too much chunk, and few did it better than Chuck. Younger stoolies may not remember what a beast Chuck was during his playing days, so here's a quick reminder

If Zion wants to model his career after anyone, Chuck isn't the worst choice.

But back to his video. Seems pretty black and white to me. There are trainers all over this country who go to school for years that can't display this type of knowledge. You talk about perfect form, you're looking at it buddy. That's some Forrest Gump shit and we all know what a tremendous runner he was. Usain Bolt is now reevaluating his entire life after seeing this picture perfect running form.

I will say Chuck also makes a good point at the end of that clip. Pelicans probably should have known this was coming before they drafted him. Maybe that would have been a good thing to try and develop this offseason instead of just sitting Zion out all summer. It's not like he suddenly runs differently now than he did back in May/June.  The one thing we do know though is trainers across the country are now on the hot seat if Chuck is going to be giving out this type of advice for free on television, and chances are we are probably nowhere close to seeing Zion on the court.
