Akiem Hicks Is Back For Packers Week, Now We Go

3 games left.  10-6 record still not outside the realm of possibility.  THE Monster of the Midway is back.  3% chance at the playoffs?  Fuck outta here.

Look, Khalil Mack gets all of the national accolades for being as good as he is, and rightfully so.  But Akiem Hicks is the lifeblood, heart, soul and engine of that defensive line.  Get him back in the lineup, and that creates more one on one matchups for Mack, which equates to more QB pressure without blitzing, which creates smaller passing windows, which in theory creates more turnovers.  Simple as that.

The Bears have a +1 turnover margin so far this year, a far cry from the +12 they had throughout the course of the 2018 season.  I truly believe Hicks’ absence has a lot to do with that.  His presence creates a ripple effect that courses through the entire defense.  And guess what?

We’re getting the Packers at their worst right now.  Even that loser Aaron Rodgers has looked like a shell of his former self in the last 5 weeks or so, aside from his 4 TD game against the dog shit Giants:Screen Shot 2019-12-10 at 10.44.03 AM

One game at a time.  That is IT.  Don’t worry about KC or Minne on the horizon, worry about going into Lambeau and beating the ever living shit out of those fuckos.  I want Rodgers’ head on a stake Game of Thrones style.  Is that too much to ask?  Just one time?  ONE TIME!!

Probably.  But for as good as the Packers looked early on, they look extremely beatable right now and the Bears are playing their best football of the season.  Oh, and they have 10 days to prepare for Green Bay, so there’s no excuse.  Beat their asses.

PS – Roquan is done for the year, which sucks because he was REALLY starting to click.  If it ain’t one thing, it’s the other.  It’s cool though we got the Polish Hammer ready to rock
