Wake Up With The Iron Man, Jacoby Ellsbury, Hitting A Grand Slam For His 100th Career Tater

End of an era in New York as the Yankees released the Iron Man, Jacoby Ellsbury, yesterday. Known for his ability to stay healthy, not miss any games, and a guy who absolutely lived up to his massive contract, Ellsbury laced this grand slam against the Orioles for his 100th career home run. Talk about a strange career, in 2011 he finished 2nd in MVP voting with 212 hits, 32 homers, 105 runs driven in, a .321 average, and a .376 OBP. That was the only season in his career that he hit over 16 homers. Hmm. Wanna see his career home run totals? (Mike Francesa voice) 3,9,8,0,32, 4,9,16,7,9,7. He literally hast played in a game since 2017 due to various injuries. Kind of interesting that he had ONE good season, cashed in on it, and was never healthy again. I’m not saying steroids, but maybe it was steroids. He was damn good at drawing catchers interference though, take that for what it’s worth. Take your cash and ride into the sunset, Jacoby.
