Did Oklahoma Bow Down To PETA's Request To Not Run Sooner Schooner For The Rest Of The Season?

SOURCE-After a crash during Oklahoma's game Saturday, the Sooner Schooner is expected to return in the future but not this season, senior associate athletic director Kenny Mossman told The Daily in a statement Tuesday.

Excuse me? What? Why? How? FUCK.

As I'm sure you know Sooner Schooner took a fall this past weekend. Everyone was alright, but the literal Sooner Schooner was in pretty bad shape.

Although damaged, I'm sure a new Sooner Schooner could be made before I finish this blog if they wanted to. It's been a tradition within the OU program for decades. Why the decision to not run the Sooner Schooner for the rest of the season? Was it…no…please no….I HOPE that this decision has nothing to do with PETA speaking out about it:

If this has to do with Oklahoma bowing down to PETA, I have no choice but to cancel the 2019 Oklahoma Sooners. Their offense is electric and it appears they finally have a defense, but that won't matter because of this decision. They have cursed themselves.

College football is a funny sport. You need the right juju at all points. Talent, coaching and all that matters but let's not forget the breaks you need to go your way to finish on top come January. Oklahoma not running out Sooner Schooner after every TD for the rest of the season is going to throw off their juju. You may not see it against the West Virginia's of the world, but when it comes time to fight to get into the playoffs, their juju is going to matter. Bad decision, OU. BAD DECISION.

I'm mad at you Oklahoma. The college football gods are mad at you. And you know who you don't want to be mad at you? The college football gods.

Good luck, OU. You are going to need it.
