Boys And Girls, The Playstation 5 Is Coming In 2020

Big news in the video game world! The PlayStation 5 is set to launch what looks like around Christmas time of 2020. I remember 6 years ago standing in line for damn near 5 hours for the PS4 on Black Friday. Back when I was still a virgin putting more hours into a game than girls. Haha, some things don't change. except for the new improvements to the PS5 controller:

First, we’re adopting haptic feedback to replace the “rumble” technology found in controllers since the 5th generation of consoles. With haptics, you truly feel a broader range of feedback, so crashing into a wall in a race car feels much different than making a tackle on the football field. You can even get a sense for a variety of textures when running through fields of grass or plodding through mud.

Boring stuff, I know. Truly, I just want the new controller's battery life to last longer than a boy's night at Skyzone. I can't even play an hour with my friends without seeing a low battery notification pop up. Xbox will always win in the controller battle, and there's no controller that feels right like the Xbox 360. It's perfect for COD, PC, and treating that bad boy like a Randy Johnson fast ball into the wall 10 feet away from you and still being able to function the next round of Search & Destroy. Wow Search & Destroy was truly the best on the 360.

There will be more news releasing next year, with probably the biggest showcase at E3 next summer. Us PS4 fans can still cherish the new COD coming out in 2 weeks, Deathstranding (has a lot of hype), The Last Of Us Part 2, and God Of War. For now, I'm still waiting for the day video game consoles will suck us in and live the true virtual reality world.
