Roman Polak's Agent Called Jack Edwards A Piece Of Shit After His Hockey Karma Comments Last Night
In last night’s Bruins vs Stars game, Roman Polak was injured on a play in the 2nd period that required him to be taken off the ice in a stretcher, something you never, ever want to see in a hockey game. In the seconds after the collision between Bruins forward Chris Wagner and Stars Defenseman Roman Polak, NESN broadcaster Jack Edwards referred to Polak’s injury as “hockey karma” making the internet, and Roman Polak’s agent big mad.
“You are truly a piece of shit and a disgrace” is how Allen Walsh, Polak’s Agent, described Edwards in a tweet. And if I was his agent, I’m sure I would of said the same thing, probably even worse. I have been a big Jack Edwards guy forever but there is just no defending this. As a player laid motionless on the ice, Edwards had the audacity to chirp him. This is a guy who has zero personal beef with Polak, it’s not like Polak crushed his old lady or something. He just doesn’t like him as a hockey player so he attacked him when he most vulnerable. Just a coward move. Would love to see Jack say that to Polak’s face.
It sucks too, because I have always been a Jack Edwards defender. I liked how bat shit crazy the guy was because he was our bat shit crazy guy. But how do you defend this?
Anyone who has a personal relationship with Polak has every right to want to stuff Edwards in a locker after those comments. Allen Walsh has every right to be heated with Jack. Just a completely uncalled for move.
