Man Gored By Bison Brings Date Back To Exact Same Trail Where She Is Promptly Gored By Same Bison

Yellowstone National Park Officials Discuss Wildfire Management

(BBC) –  A man who was gored by a bison in June took a date back to the same place – only for her also to be attacked.

Kyler Bourgeous brought Kayleigh Davis to the same trail at a state park in Utah with plans to watch the sunset.

But when Ms Davis ran a little ahead, she ended up alone with a bison who charged and flipped her into the air.

“I looked over my shoulder, seeing it get closer – and I looked again and it was pretty much right behind me. Right as I saw it, I flew up in the air 15ft (4.5m),” Ms Davis says.

She landed on her back and lay completely still – remembering what happened to Mr Bourgeous – as the bison sniffed at her.

Nowhere does it mention it was the same bison but I think we can all agree it’s much funnier to imagine one extremely surly bison who just really hates people named Kyler and Kayleigh. Like I’m imagining this bison saw the chalkboard name mom and made it his life mission to gore every last person with one of these names.

Imagine how much fun tossing a Grayson 15-feet into the air must be? Watch him spin around like pizza dough, go back to all your other bison pals and laugh about how he shit himself. Now all that feels unlikely, mostly due to the lack of access your common bison has to Instagram, but I wont rule it out. What I will rule out is hiking, the wilderness and things of that nature. This isn’t even a “fool me once, shame on you” type scenario. You already know the dangers of hiking and wild life before you make that first trek out there. Getting gored once and surviving to tell the tale should have been enough for Kyler. But it wasn’t. Kyler had to go full Kyler and not only go back to the scene of the crime, but get someone else gored in the process. At what point do we, as a nation, start viewing Kyler as the problem here and just leave this bison the fuck alone to do other bison things? I believe we’re long past that point but I’m willing to hear all sides on this one.
