Jerry Jeudy Is No Longer My WR1 Heading Into The 2020 Draft

As I’ve tried to explain over the years of my scouting here at Barstool Sports, the draft process is a fluid process. What we knew yesterday has no bearing on what we learn today. As recently as an hour ago Jerry Jeudy was head and shoulders above the rest of his class with really no competitors for his WR1 status. And then all of that changed with this fresh faced youngster making one of the more awe-inspiring snags I’ve ever seen.

During the most recent Browns game the Sunday Night Football crew went on and on about how Odell Beckham invented one-handed catches, about how he’s a pioneer in the catch game and that his fingerprints will forever be intertwined with the position from now on. You know what’s even more impressive than a one-handed catch? A no-handed catch. We’ll be talking about the Franklin Bridge snag for centuries to come, I have no doubts.

I only care about your production in between those white lines, if you’ve got the hand mouth-eye coordination to high point a target and come down with both feet in the end zone you’ve got a spot on my team simple and plain.
