Wake Up With Albert Belle Sending A Ball To Mars For His 50th Homer Of The Season

Name me a more intimidating player in MLB History than Albert Belle? I'll wait. Belle absolutely obliterates this ball. Smashes it. Sends it flying so god damn far. And his bat speed? Sheesh. I would have killed for some exit velo stats off this guy, especially on this pitch. What a call by the announcers too, "THIS COULD BE IT!" followed immediately by "IT IS". I mean this was an absolute no-doubter the second that leather hit wood. This would be his final homer of the 1995 season, a 50 burger would be his career high as well. We saw a time where no one hit 50 homers in a season, then it seemed like everyone hit 50, and now it's back to maybeeee a couple guys will get there, I mean look how 50 home runs was celebrated back in 1995. Regardless, Belle was a god damn beast when he was healthy and wanted to play. He may not have been the nicest guy in the world, but he could hit the hell out of a ball.
