Tekashi 6ix9ine's Testimony In Court Is A Wild Ride: Here's A Word For Word Thread From The Trial

tekashi court sketch

There is SO much going on in this thread. It's a complete word for word and movement for movement account of exactly what's happening in the courthouse from the second court opens until the moment it adjourns for the day. There's a ton of stuff that happens before this but it's all child's play compared to Tekashi 6ix9ine stepping to the witness stand. This set of tweets is where it all begins.

Shit is heating up EARLY. Cooperating with the feds has so many crazy dynamics. Obviously when it happens everyone knows what it entails. For months we've heard about Tekashi becoming a federal witness which inevitably ends with him testifying against all his former gang members in court directly to their faces. I'd imagine it was pretty easy for him to flip when the FBI comes knocking and throwing around 40 years to life at you, but I can't imagine there's anything that can prepare you for the blatant and detailed nature of a court hearing. Theres no hiding from it. There's no tap dancing around it. Straight to the point.

Next the court starts breaking down the making of "GUMMO". Oh boy was this a treat.

I can only imagine how all the old white people in the room reacted to "GUMMO" being blasted over the courthouse speakers. I think it was a huge mistake to not have this trial on TV. Can you imagine the ratings it would get?! Tekashi on the witness stand ratting on all his former gang friends to their face while they stare death through him. All while this is going on we have 67 year old white guys breaking down all of Tekashi's biggest songs lyric for lyric. Just seeing everyone in the court house's facial expressions through the whole thing would be worth the price of admission alone. This trial had crazy PPV potential. Big loss for the American public.

What happens next is a wild turn….

Chirp! Chirp! Tekashi is out here singing like a god damn bird. Snitching on Trippie Redd for his (alleged) gang affiliation? THIS LEAGUE.

What a god damn world. Details of the initation process of the gang, full on leadership and organization structure being broken down. Of course it's expected for a guy in this situation to be snitching on everything and everyone to get himself to walk a free man (aka in witness protection in Wyoming somewhere) but it's still polarizing to hear the testimony from the man himself. Regardless of what anyone thinks of all of this I think we all have to admit this case is interesting as hell.

As the days go by more and more details will come out and people getting snitched on. From the looks of it Tekashi is gonna be dishing out sentences like he's Oprah. You get 10 years! You get 10 years! Our lucky winner in the studio courthouse audience, Shotti, gets 30 years! Wooohooo! God damn do I wish this shit was on TV. Follow @innercitypress for all the details on the case and verbatim breakdowns of whats happening in the courthouse as the trial goes on. It should go all the way through next week. I'll be providing updates on the blog as it progresses.
