The Hits Just Keep Coming For The Redskins As Wawa Is Serving Hoagies In Washington DC With "Fly Eagles Fly" Sandwich Wrap Paper

Well, Redskins fans, I hope you’ve had an enjoyable experience for your 2019 NFL season. But unfortunately, all great things must come to an end. And your season is now complete. It was a solid week and you almost pulled off a major upset to start ooff the season with a win over the Eagles. But after blowing a 17-point lead to Philly and now allowing Wawa to dunk all over your city with some “Fly Eagles Fly” sandwich wrap paper? Well there’s really nothing left for you this season. You’ve got injuries, you’ve got players publicly questioning the coaching staff, and you’re getting owned by a sandwich shop/convenience store/gas station.

Honestly I just feel a little bad at this point. I mean you have Dan Snyder as your owner. That should already be enough pain and suffering for any fanbase to endure. But to then get tucked away and put to sleep by America’s #1 convenience store while you’re still getting over a brutal 2nd half meltdown on the road? It breaks my heart. It really does. But hey, maybe next year is the year. Probably not since Carson is only 26 and signed a 4-year extension that keeps him here through 2024. But you get what I’m saying. And also look on the bright side–at least you still get to enjoy the delicious and delectable wonders that Wawa has to offer, even if they serve you your hoagie in some Eagles deli paper. There are so many fanbases across the NFL that aren’t as lucky as you are in that regard, so keep your chin up. There’s nothing a jalapeno cheddar stuffed pretzel from Wawa can’t fix.
