Wake Up With The 6 Minute Continuous Shot In True Detective Season 1

For my money, this is one of the coolest scenes in TV history.  The entire scene was one continuous shot and with how much goes down you’d think it took 6 days to film it, not 6 minutes.  Director Cary Joji Fukunaga absolutely fucking dominated the cinematography in this scene and our guy Matty McConaughey fucking crushes it the entire 6 mins.  I remember watching the whole thing live and being in sheer awe at how cool this entire 6 minute stretch was.  When I heard it was shot in one continuous take I was stunned.  Like I said, some of the best TV ever.
