LSU AD Says Nick Saban Regrets Leaving LSU And Has A Lower IQ Than Ed Orgeron
It feels like Nick Saban was at LSU a century ago. His time at LSU was short (2000-2004) before he left for his shorter stint in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins. He did win a national championship in Baton Rogue, however, he's achieved legendary status at Alabama. Yesterday at a rotary in Louisiana (nothing more college football than starting your season off with a press conference at a rotary), LSU AD Scott Woodward brought up Nick Saban:
SOURCE-“Probably in this half century, there have been three giants in the three major sports in the NCAA: baseball, football and basketball. (They are) Skip Bertman, Nick Saban, Mike Kryzyzewski,” he started. "Two of them (Bertman and Saban) were on our campus in the early 2000s. You forget about that. Giants. “That’s because of LSU. That’s what attracts them here, and I know there’s a guy in Alabama who has regrets he’s not here today. Shame on him. But, we have one with a higher IQ that’s here today, so thank you.”
As you can see by the smile on Woodward's face, this was a joking jab at Nick Saban. The punchline of pointing at Coach O and saying he has a higher IQ than Saban was perfect.
For most it came across as a harmless joke, except for those who live in Alabama.
"Y'all were the first ugly girlfriend." BOOM. ROASTED.
