Bryson DeChambeau Update: "Screw All Yall Haters, No Big Deal, I Still Love Yall Even Though You Hate Me"

Love him or hate him, Bryson DeChambeau is an open book and that’s awesome. You can dislike certain things about him (Frankie Borrelli and myself have had well-documented disagreements with him) but it’s cool that a guy at his level is still willing to talk about anything and everything despite the heat he’s taking. The very fact that he agreed to come on Fore Play for an hour during the height of the slow play fiasco says a lot about the kind of guy he is. He answered every question we asked him and gave us a level of transparency that you just don’t get with professional athletes in 2019. He could just as easily said nothing, tweeted nothing and ignored it all until the news cycle focused on something else but he didn’t. People are still gonna hate on him and yell “slow play!” at him during tournaments and that’s fine. But at the very least people should appreciate his approach to the media and dealing with controversy. And yes he’s still a huge nerd.
