Wake Up With A "Did You Know?" : Hitler Had A Sweet Ass Mansion In Patagonia, Argentina

I’ll start this blog with a big ***ALLEGEDLY***. Allegedly Hitler died in a Berlin bunker in 1945. Or he may have lived in this South American estate for the rest of his days

The home was designed by a man named Alejandro Bustillo who built several homes in this part of the world for Nazi party fugitives who were later detained in the area. This particular lot was purchased by Enrique Garcia Merou in 1943, who was an Argentine lawyer and business owner who also had several links to the German businesses and the Nazi party and allegedly helped them with their escape to South America. This particular house was very similar to a vacation home Hitler had in the Alps

The sales of Patagonia home were never made public, but the supposed offering price was for $25M in 2012. So yeah, the Wednesday Wake Up blogs are typically about facts, and this is more of the conspiracy variety, but I was up late watching documentaries on Netflix about the Mossad hunting Nazis in South America and this place was briefly mentioned. The house looks spectacular. Little additional cottages around the property, a small farm, lake views, privacy. All very important things to have if you’re hiding out in exile because you’re the most vile and evil man in the history of the world. Or…it’s just a pretty house belonging to a private citizen in Argentina, who knows.
