Trish Stratus Will Always Be The First Love Of My Life
Last night was probably Trish Stratus’ last match in WWE. Probably being the key word there, because nobody ever really retires from this. You think they’re retired, and then the prince of a corrupt country that kills and brutalizes it’s own people lines Vince McMahon’s pockets to bring old wrestlers out of retirement to make a mockery of the business. But fortunately for Trish she’ll never have to worry about that since Saudi Arabia doesn’t allow women’s wrestling, despite the WWE’s insistence on having a “women’s revolution” and treating both sexes equally. Ahem. Sorry. Blog got away from me there. I apologize. Where was I? Oh yeah. Trish. So anyway, Trish wrestled what is probably her last match last night against Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam. And boy was it a good one. Trish can still go. She hasn’t missed a damn beat, despite not being full time since 2006. 2006!!! That might as well be 1885 as far as I’m concerned. But despite all of that, she had her final match last night and put on a damn show before waving goodbye to the crowd.
She went from eye candy
To Women’s Champion
To a Hall of Famer
But lemme tell you, she was coming up in the game while young Barstool Nate was learning about the birds and the bees, and brother, the timing could not have been better for Kleenex.
Trish will always be my OG crush. Hell of a career. Thank you Trish.
