I Stand With This Woman That Was Arrested For Stealing Some Food From A Sonic Drive-In After Saying "This One's On God"

(Source)- On Monday, a Las Cruces woman was so hungry, she rode her bicycle to the Sonic on El Paseo Road, ordered some food and when the server asked for payment, allegedly told him, “this one’s on God.” The server told her, “That’s not how this works,” and tried to keep the food from her, but the woman allegedly threatened him and came toward him for the meal.

Police later found the woman — Delila Hernandez — in a park eating the meal she’d allegedly stolen.

Hernandez, 30, was arrested and charged with a felony robbery.

I don’t know if people will consider this Toxic Christianity or what. But I am going to blindly assume that Miss Hernandez here is a believer in my personal Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. And if that’s the case, the police don’t really have a case here unless they want to open up Pandora’s Box that comes with religious freedom here in the good ol’ US of A.

For us Believers, it is common knowledge that Jesus gave his body and blood to his best friends on the planet to consume the night of the Last Supper. Well if JC would do such an extreme act for his pals, you better believe he is cool with a follower of his teachings putting a burger, some tots, and a large slush on the Lord’s tab. In fact, I bet He would cherish playing the role of Seabass for any of His children.

Hell Heck, if Delila pulled this stunt at a God-fearing fast food chain like Chick-Fil-A, they would have thrown in a free shake instead of pressing charges. So in essence, the only crime Delila committed was being in the mood for a burger instead of a spicy chicken sandwich, waffle fries, and Diet Dr. Pepper (with so much Chick-Fil-A Sauce even Noah would drown in it). So while I stand with Delila, I have to give her an A for effort but a C- for execution.
